Yes, it's really true ...
In 1963 the National Socialist Chilean Workers Party in their first year boasted 10,000 members ("Patria y Libertad" - "Libertad" for whom??)
As if that weren't bad enough, this Nazi spin-off hosted an annual "Miss Nazi" Beauty Contest to which hundreds of South American Nazis sent their aspiring swastika'd daughters. In 1968 the award of Miss Nazi was given to a chubby brunette, portly and plain, chosen mainly for her wide girth, perfect for fulfilling her only life's purpose - bearing lots of Nazi offspring.
